THEboiler pipesThey are smooth pipes made of steel, in various thicknesses and without welding, used in trade for general purposes EN 10216-1:2005 (EX UNI 7287/86) or for the construction of simple pipes, such as those of boilers, through which the steam resulting from the boiling of the heating water is made to flow.

PIPES FOR THERMAL APPLICATIONS

The boiler pipes are therefore pipes suitable for supporting thegas passageat high temperature, and for this reason they are generally made through cold drawing, which gives the piece a mechanical compactness of notable efficiency.

Of course, there are infinite variations ofboiler pipes, since they can be made with different thicknesses and diameters, as well as with steel with various characteristics depending on the intended use.

MATERIAL - CARBON STEEL

- The pipes of this standard are supplied, unless otherwise explicitly requested at the time of ordering, in commercial lengths from 4 to 8 m.

-Tolerances:
-on the external diameter: ± 1% ± 0.5mm
the greater of the two values
-on the thickness:
- for Øe ≤ 219.1 mm ± 12.5%
0 ± 0.4mm, whichever is greater
for Øe> 219.1 mm
± 20% when the Sp/Øe ratio is ≤ 0.025
± 15% when the Sp/Øe ratio is > 0.025

-Evidence
Hydraulic test at 70 bar or equivalent test with electromagnetic non-destructive testing (Eddy Current)

-Documents
Unless otherwise requested when ordering, a 2.2 inspection certificate is issued in accordance with the EN 10204 standard.

-Surfaces
Normally the pipes are supplied raw, without any surface protection

Smooth, cut perpendicular to the axis of the tube



The field of use of the pipes of this standard is limited to pipelines and constructions without particular requirements.
